Sabre

A melee. The sabre isn't too much different from the sword. Its blade is more curved than the sword. The sabre also has a different handle, its more smooth. Press X to go in a marching stance, without being able to attack, press X again to leave marching stance.

Usage

This weapon is only used by Hussars, Dragoons, and also by Russian Partizani cause their gear is randomized. The French Empire also uses the Sabre as a melee weapon, as of the latest update. Almost every faction has a dragoon, exept for Duchy of Nassau. Some sabres can be 2-hits, some 3-hits, its pretty much random. To increase damage, choose a cavalry regiment and get on your horse, then try to reach a high momentum with your horse, then just slash the enemy.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

Stronger and has more range than a knife.
Can block unlike the knife

Cons:

Low range, can be beaten by a stab weapon with higher range (pike, bayonet, lance) if opponent can stay away from their sword's distance
