- Not to be confused with Musket (Light Infantry).
The line musket is a ranged weapon with a bayonet attached to its end. It is issued to line infantry rankers. Line muskets are less accurate than a light musket, though more accurate than musketoons and pistols. It also has a moderate reload speed (11.5 seconds).
The musket's bayonet has a longer range than the sword and the sabre, which gives an advantage in melee combat.
Design
The musket used by all teams is based strongly on the British Long Land Pattern Brown Bess and is equipped with a bayonet. It is a smoothbore firearm, which has worse accuracy than rifled firearms.
Usage
The musket is most effective when used in groups, as it gives all players more time to reload and defend each other from danger.
The musket is a mix of both anti-cavalry and anti-infantry due to its bayonet. The musket is designed to fit many purposes in battle, and rankers are issued sword or sabres as a back-up.
Bayonet
- Main article: Bayonet
The bayonet is the only melee weapon that is mounted on a weapon. To present the musket in bayonet mode, press X. The bayonet deals massive damage to horses. It has the ability to brace by holstering and then crouching, fixing your gun in the directing it was pointing prior to crouching.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Faster reload speed than a rifle.
- Features a bayonet, which has a long melee range.
- Bayonets will be powerful against cavalry by potentially highly damaging their horse (if the bayonet hits the horse twice).
- The musket's all-around stats makes it an appropriate weapon for most scenarios that a player would face.
Cons
- Lower accuracy than rifles and light muskets.
- Slow melee block speed.
- It can be difficult to out-damage a sword if they are up close and personal due to their higher attack rate.
- Relying on your bayonet may be the wrong choice if you are being overwhelmed.

Trivia
- The musket seen is actually anachronistic, as at the time of the Napoleonic Wars, the India Pattern had already been standard for six years.
- The musket model was created by SMPeople, which inspired CoderQwerty to script the model, eventually leading to Blood & Iron.
- The model has also received the most changes.
- The bayonet when braced used to insta-kill horses until it was nerfed to only dealing massive damage.
